About the Role:
Kinematic Digital is seeking a strategic and dynamic Head of SEO to lead our Search Engine Optimization efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing our SEO strategy to maximize organic traffic, improve search rankings, and increase brand visibility online. This leadership role requires a deep understanding of SEO best practices, content strategy, and digital marketing, along with the ability to manage a team and work collaboratively across departments.
- SEO Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive SEO strategy that aligns with the company’s goals, focusing on keyword research, content optimization, link building, and technical SEO to drive organic growth.
- Leadership: Lead, mentor, and expand the SEO team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning. Ensure the team has the resources and knowledge needed to achieve their goals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with content, marketing, product, and web development teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all digital content and development projects.
- Analytics and Reporting: Regularly analyze and report on SEO performance, using data to inform decisions and adjust strategies as needed. Present insights and progress to senior management and stakeholders.
- SEO Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices to keep ahead of competitors and make timely adjustments to our strategy.
- Technical SEO: Oversee technical SEO audits and recommend fixes, ensuring the website’s architecture, site speed, mobile optimization, and other technical factors support SEO objectives.
- Content Strategy: Collaborate with the content team to develop a content strategy that supports SEO goals, focusing on creating high-quality, relevant content that addresses user intent and improves search visibility.
- Link Building: Develop and execute a link-building strategy that increases high-quality backlinks to the site, improving domain authority and search rankings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in an SEO leadership role, with a strong track record of delivering measurable results.
- Deep understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking strategies, and best practices in SEO.
- Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Google Analytics, Google Search Console) and web analytics.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying complex concepts to a diverse audience.
